No laptop? No problem. After four months in beta, the Beatsource streaming service for open-format DJs is now available in Denon DJ Engine OS-enabled gear. That includes standalone devices such as the Prime SC6000 player and Prime 4 controller.
Beatsource President, Brian “DJ Quickie” Wong, says:
“This is the future of DJing. Imagine showing up to your gig with just a pair of headphones and your DJ skills, logging into the Denon gear, and your personal playlists and DJ library become instantly available.”
Launched in May, Beatsource enables DJs to stream tracks from the Beatsource library in their DJ software, along with thousands of playlists. In addition to Engine OS, Beatsource is also available in Serato DJ Pro and Lite, Pioneer DJ rekordbox, VirtualDJ, Algoriddim djay and djay Pro, Hercules DJUCED, and PCDJ DEX 3.
