DJs can now easily transfer their Spotify playlists to Beatsource using the Soundiiz service and DJ with them.
This is particularly useful to DJs who have been using Spotify to perform. As of Wednesday, Spotify has officially ended support for DJ software, including Algoriddim’s djay and djay Pro.
Soundiiz offers two plans: free and premium at $3 a month. The free version lets DJs transfer one playlist at a time, whereas the premium version enables DJs to transfer multiple playlists at once and sync them.
Launched in early May, Beatsource lets DJs stream millions of tracks and access hundreds of curated playlists directly in their performance software. Premium subscriptions offer Beatsource’s patented offline locker, which enables DJs to play without an internet connection.
Beatsource is currently available in Pioneer DJ rekordbox, Algoriddim djay and djay Pro, VirtualDJ, and Hercules DJUCED. More integrations are coming soon.
